Credit derivatives terminology

Basle–II: Generally used as an acronym for the revised capital adequacy requirements and other supervisory standards that the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has put in place to replace the 1988 capital regulations. The revised capital requirements have 3 pillars including minimum capital, supervisory review and market discipline.
