Credit derivatives terminology

Trustee: Generically refers to anyone who holds property for the benefit of another or others.In context of credit linked notes or other securitisation, there is a creation of a security interest for the benefit of the investors, the security is created in favour of a trustee who holds the security in trust for the investors.
